"My area of specialization is organizational leadership. Although it's a doctoral degree in education the organizational leadership concentration is for people with business backgrounds and things like that. What it gives us besides specialized additional knowledge of strategic planning and management; it's also the ability to conduct applied research which is you look at the situation, you look a t what theory has to say about that situation, you come up with an intervention and you test the intervention so its applied. I think, for me personally that it is the area of interest. It's not only studying something bu it is also a way to fix it" (Love FM, 2008).
